  1. Start with Clean Skin: Begin by washing your face or the area you want to apply the balm.

  2. Scoop a Small Amount: A little whipped tallow balm goes a long way! Scoop a pea-sized amount for your face or a bit more for larger areas of your body using a dry finger or a clean spoon/spatula.*

  3. Warm Between Hands or Fingers: Rub the balm between your palms to melt it slightly, making it easier to apply & spread. It should absorb completely within minutes.

  4. Massage into Skin: Gently massage the tallow into your skin using circular motions. Focus on dry or irritated areas, & don't forget rough spots like elbows or knees! For eye balm, gently dab under & around the eye with your fingertip.

  5. Apply as Needed: Tallow Balm is suitable for both morning & night & can be worn under makeup.  Apply daily or to specific areas whenever your skin needs extra hydration or healing.

  6. Use Overnight for Deep Hydration: For an intensive hydration, apply a generous layer before bed & let it work its magic overnight. Wake up with deeply moisturized, glowing skin!

Additional Tips

* Be careful not to introduce any liquids (such as water) into the cream, as this natural product may be prone to bacterial growth if exposed to moisture.

* Using tallow on a clean, damp face can provide more benefits including sealing in moisture, enhancing absorption & softer, smoother skin. It does take slightly longer to rub it, but the benefits are worth it & your skin will enjoy the additional massage!

* Be sure to store in a cool place to maintain its texture. If it’s been left in a cold area, leave it at room temperature for a few hours to warm it up & make it easier to spread. If it softens in warm weather, simply pop it in the fridge to firm it up! The nutritional qualities will not be altered.

* As with any product you place on your skin; if you are new to tallow, do a patch test on a small area of skin to ensure compatibility.
